I have been on a mission lately.  I had really gotten away from crafting over the last 2 years.  I just did not "feel" like doing anything creative at all.  Thankfully, my broken crafty heart has started to beat again and my paper is talking to me.  I do believe that all will be well in my cheery little studio.....

A layout celebrating my brave, brave girl.  I don't know that I would be doing as well as she is.  She's so independent and full of fire.  When I was her age, I was married with 2 kids and a pot full of dreams on the back burner (I hope that doesn't sound like regret bc it isn't.  I hit the kid lottery and have 4 of the greatest ones on the planet).  Anyway, I had a ton of fun creating it and am happy with the end result.  Not the vision that I started with but it worked out and I have leftover c-juice to try to get my vision into paper.

Finally got a silhouette!  Used it to create the house.  Printed from the best gold paper ever made.  So pretty!

Close up of the stitching on my squarey starburst thing.  Almost broke my machine on this one (man was I po'd).  Had to take the blasted thing apart to get it to work again.  I was actually crazy enough to try to handstitch the half that was left undone.  Yeah that idea lasted a good 10 stitches, there is not enough good tv on to make that a good idea for me.

That's it for now.  Until next time thanks for stopping by.
