Layout Share

Just popping in for a quick but massive layout share.  I still haven't compiled my numbers for the week but hope to do it soon.  I will share for 2 weeks instead of 1.  I am starting the process for transitioning to my June kit and should have that all in place by the first of the month.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Rolling in Pages!

Sorry (not really) about the layout heavy post but this girl right here is getting it!  Not really trying to be all braggy about getting so many pages done even though it is a huge accomplishment for me.  I'm just really happy to get these stories down and to get these pages into my album.  Seriously.  I have to enjoy it while it last bc come the end of the month, free time will be a commodity around here.  A look at the pages.....

I don't know how many of you remember the tv show "Mork & Mindy" but for those that do, here's the wave:)

Yep.  More Disney goodness.  Love this spread bc it holds all of the maps and brochures that I didn't want to toss.....

Did this one for a challenge over at scrapbook.com.

My Dad is amazing and I love to see him so happy.  He is cheerful by nature but at times, you can actually feel the joy in him.

My sister makes a mean Red Velvet Cake.  It is gone in 60 seconds type good.  We all ask her to make it for every get together especially for birthdays.  She got the recipe from my Aunt years ago but is not very willing to share it herself.  As soon as I corner her, I plan to write the recipe onto this page.  She doesn't have to worry about having her thunder stolen as no one will be able to make it the way she does...

To make it more official, my plan is to get 23 more pages done this weekend and about 15 more by Friday.  I imagine that I am going to have to head to Michael's to get a couple more albums while I'm at it:)

Thanks for stopping by!!!!!

Feeling Extravagant

because of a fantastic purchase at Amazon.  I scored (stole it really) a 12 count box of 1/2" ATG Gold tape for less than $9.00!!!!!  I bought four boxes and really feel like the queen of the world.  Now whenever I need to tape something, I whip out my ATG.  Somebody in the house need a band-aid?  You guessed it, here comes the ATG.  I would go on and on about the many new ways I have found to use it but i'm sure you get the picture.  I found a once in a lifetime deal and am so, so happy about it.

Still rollin' on getting layouts and challenges done but I haven't visited Big Picture Classes since the beginning of April.  :(

In the spirit of keeping it real, I have to admit that I hate this layout!  Hate it.  The only thing good about it is my husbands photo and even that has a funky tint to it.  It happens and it is going into the album...

This one is not a favorite either.  Taking down my Christmas is a traumatic experience for me and every year I do what I can to keep it up as long as possible.  Yeah, I'm one of those people that would have their tree on and lit until Easter:)

My sweet daughter sends the best mail!  She always writes loving messages and funny doodles on the outside of her packages and letters which makes this mushy mama extremely happy.  The photo mat looks funny bc I didn't want to cover it up, it is actually the liner of the card she sent me.

This dude again.  He has completely stolen his aunties heart and I just adore him:)  This page was too fun to make!  I started with the mirrrored clusters in the cornes than filled in using a 6X6 cut-apart sheet and some misc stuff that I had on my desk.

Happy Friday everyone!!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a lovely weekend planned...

p.s. my numbers for the week will be coming soon and they are surprising.

Monday, Monday

Mondays are fantastic aren't they?  A fresh new beginning to a fresh new week right? Yesterday was Mother's Day and hopefully everyone had a fantastic one, I sure did.  All of my chickadee's called me and made me feel very special & loved and my 2 dudes cooked me a fantastic dinner.  And on top of all of that fabulousness, they left me alone to scrap my heart out.  Oh the bliss.....

Since Saturday was National Scrapbook Day, I had plenty of inspiration to work with this weekend.  The challenges started on Friday and I actually completed/ some on Friday.  I was hoping to get all of the challenges at SB.com done but that's not how we roll here and my slow scrapping really held me back.  If you are able to get out of your own head and get a ton of pages done in one sitting my hat is off to you!

All in all, what did completed wasn't a shabby number and makes me happy all the same. Here is a look at the pages that I've done since the last time I posted on Friday....

Only a few of these were for the challenges but all are for my albums which is the main goal.  I will talk more about them (especially the ones that were scraplifted) tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Monday everyone!
