Off to NJ

Well, I've kissed the kids & the hubby, packed the store, cut a few thousand (feels like) class kits and am now ready to head out to NJ. Jean and I plan on having a fabulous time and we can't wait to get there! Although, I have to admit, I will miss my blog (missing the family, esp my little guy, goes without saying). I will make sure to update as soon as I get back but until then, have a fabulous week and a better than fabulous weekend. If you plan on stopping by the store, we will process and get your orders out as soon as we return.

Sheree,
I enjoyed taking your class in NJ. I had fun playing with the techniques and learned things that I will use again. I liked the vinyl overlay page which was a double sided page. I liked the masking technique which we did with the crackle paint- but not sure that I will use that page. I think that I might have liked it better with a dabber rather than the crackle paint.I did like how the crackle paint looked on the photo mats. The class was worth taking, but I would like to make a couple of suggestions. It would probably be a good idea to give away a few prizes during the class and the members of the class who like to do two page layouts would appreciate getting a couple of extra pieces of paper to make matching layouts.
See you at CK- Valley Forge!

Hi, I am so glad that you enjoyed the class. I know that the colors on my pages are very strong but I hope that you will be able to find a way to use them. Once you put your pictures on the pages most of the stuff is covered up so you really only see the edges & background papers(with the exception of the spring page). I did intend to do giveaways but my lesson plans cover the beginning to the end so I ran out of time. I posted that the 1st six people from the classes to post on the blogs would get the give away prizes so send me your address and I will get your prize in the mail Monday (yeah). And I thought about putting more into the kits but I would lose my shirt, lol. There is already about $30 worth of material in the kit and I had already went over my budget so was not able to put anything more in the class kits. But I am working on a something for next year. Maybe doing 2 page layouts vice 1 page ones. Thanks for the feedback and make sure you swing by the class to say hi in Valley Forge.
